Veins of Light explores the organic pathways created as alcohol ink moves freely across the surface.

Translucent layers of colour divide, merge and travel into one another, creating delicate lines reminiscent of mineral veins, flowing water and the branching structures found throughout nature. Areas of luminosity appear between deeper passages, giving the work a sense of light emerging from within.

Part of the fascination of alcohol ink is relinquishing complete control. The medium moves instinctively, creating forms that can be guided but never entirely predicted.

Veins of Light celebrates that spontaneity — allowing the material itself to become part of the creative conversation.
