Inspired by the fleeting beauty of cherry blossom, this expansive work explores one of nature's most poignant reminders: beauty does not need to last forever to have meaning.

The unusually long format creates a sweeping sense of movement, allowing botanical forms and layered marks to travel across the canvas almost like branches carried on a spring breeze. Mixed media introduces texture and variation, giving the surface a delicate but expressive quality.

Cherry blossom has long been associated with renewal and the transient nature of life, and that idea sits quietly at the heart of the painting.

Cherry Blossom celebrates being present — noticing beauty while it is here and allowing a moment, however brief, to become a memory.
