Created as a continuation of Midnight Lilies, this larger work takes the atmosphere of the series into a more immersive space.

Botanical forms appear to drift through layers of darkness and light, creating the impression of a garden glimpsed at twilight.

The generous scale allows texture and movement to become an important part of the experience. Soft organic marks meet deeper passages of colour, creating a painting that changes subtly according to the light and the distance from which it is viewed.

There is romance within Midnight Lilies II, but also strength — a celebration of the resilience and quiet transformation found throughout the natural world.
