Original Mixed Media with Embedded Smoky Quartz Unframed

60 × 60 cm

Harmonious explores balance — not as perfect symmetry, but as the ability of contrasting elements to exist beautifully together.

Layers of mixed media meet pieces of natural smoky quartz embedded into the surface, combining softness with texture and transparency with solidity. Earth-derived neutrals create a grounded composition with subtle variations revealed as the light changes.

Smoky quartz is traditionally associated with grounding and stability, making it particularly fitting for a work centred around equilibrium.

Harmonious is about finding calm amongst contrast — recognising that balance does not require everything to be the same, only for each element to find its place.
