Precious Layers is inspired by the hidden beauty beneath the Earth's surface — rock, minerals and precious elements slowly formed through time, pressure and transformation.

Smoky greys, charcoal and earthy mineral tones move across the canvas, interrupted by warmer traces reminiscent of copper, bronze and seams of gold. Layer upon layer creates a surface that feels weathered, geological and quietly luxurious.

The painting reflects my fascination with what lies beneath the visible — both within the Earth and within ourselves.

Precious Layers celebrates the idea that some of the most valuable things are not immediately revealed. They are discovered slowly, through time, curiosity and a willingness to look deeper.
