Tide's Out takes inspiration from the coastline at low tide, when the retreating sea reveals a landscape normally hidden beneath the water.

Soft greys, pale blues, sand and atmospheric neutrals create a sense of openness, while expressive marks suggest shallow water, exposed shoreline and distant weather.

There is a particular stillness to the coast when the tide withdraws — a temporary landscape that exists only until the water returns.
