New Beginnings is inspired by the creation of the Earth — a moment when water, fire, air and land might have existed together in a state of extraordinary transformation.

Sweeping blues and smoky greys evoke water and atmosphere, while warmer rust and ember-like tones suggest heat, fire and the beginnings of solid earth. Layers appear to collide and dissolve, giving the painting a sense of continual movement and formation.

At its heart, New Beginnings is about transformation and renewal.

It reflects the idea that from uncertainty and change, something entirely new can emerge — a painting filled with energy, possibility and hope.
