Snow Moon takes inspiration from the ethereal beauty of winter light — the luminosity of a full moon against a cold, quiet landscape.

Layers of pale mineral tones, softened whites and atmospheric greys create a sense of space and stillness. Light appears to move through the work rather than sit upon its surface, giving the composition an almost suspended quality.

There is both distance and intimacy within the painting: the vastness of a winter sky balanced by the deeply personal experience of standing beneath it.

Snow Moon is ultimately a meditation on stillness — a reminder that even within darkness, there is always the possibility of illumination.
