Echoes of Strength explores resilience — the strength accumulated quietly through experience, challenge and change.

Natural Tiger's Eye is embedded within layers of mixed media, its golden-brown tones and shifting lustre becoming part of the painting's earthy, tactile surface. Tiger's Eye is a quartz-family gemstone known for its distinctive moving band of reflected light, or chatoyancy. 

​

Traditionally associated with courage, confidence and steadiness, the stone became a natural starting point for a work centred on inner resolve.

Echoes of Strength reflects the idea that resilience leaves traces within us — reminders of what has been endured, overcome and carried forward.
