Abundance is inspired by the extraordinary richness hidden within the Earth.

Natural pyrite crystals are embedded directly into the mixed-media surface, their metallic character contrasting with deeper organic textures and mineral tones. The crystal becomes more than an embellishment: it forms part of the physical landscape of the work.

The painting considers abundance beyond material wealth — as richness of experience, opportunity, creativity and connection.

There is something particularly compelling about discovering a metallic mineral within raw rock. Abundance captures that sense of unexpected treasure and reminds us that value can often exist in places we might otherwise overlook.
