Held Together I & II explore connection, balance and the invisible bonds that hold us together.

Created as companion pieces, the paintings share a restrained palette and visual language while remaining distinctly individual. Layers meet, separate and reconnect across their surfaces, suggesting fragments that have found a way to coexist rather than become perfectly uniform.

There is deliberate imperfection within the work. Marks and divisions remain visible, becoming part of its character rather than something to conceal.

Together, the paintings reflect an idea that feels particularly human: strength does not necessarily come from remaining untouched, but from the ways we reconnect, rebuild and continue.
