Smoky Quartz draws inspiration from the mineral's translucent depths and its extraordinary spectrum of smoke, taupe, charcoal and earthy brown.

Layers of mixed media build gradually across the surface, creating areas that appear solid and geological alongside softer passages that seem almost weightless. Light catches the changing textures, revealing details that shift according to the surrounding environment.

Smoky quartz is commonly associated in contemporary crystal traditions with grounding and stability, an idea reflected in the painting's quiet, anchored presence.

Sophisticated and understated, Smoky Quartz celebrates the richness that can exist within a restrained natural palette.
